Malfested - Shallow Graves
Wir verlassen heute den deutschen Untergrund und begeben uns auf die Reise nach Belgien.
Hier gibt es eine junge Band namens Malfested, die im November 2020 ihr neuestes Werk mit dem Titel Shallow Graves veröffentlicht hat.
Mike von Hardlife Promotion hat mich auf die Band aufmerksam gemacht und da dachte ich mir, warum nicht, Metal unites us, und somit kam es zu dem was ihr jetzt hier habt.
Die Band gibt es tatsächlich erst seit 2020, und dann so ein Debüt zu releasen, das verdient schon Respekt.
Musikalisch geht man in Richtung Deathmetal, mal eher Oldschool, mal die modernere, melodischere Version, und das macht das ganze sehr abwechslungsreich.
In einem Moment gibt es sehr schöne Melodien, im nächsten Augenblick wird einfach nur geballert.
Die Vocals schwanken zwischen Growls und Screams, die Instrumente klingen sehr gut, und man erkennt definitiv Talent, leider konnte ich zur Besetzung nichts finden, weshalb ich keine Aussage dazu treffen kann, ob sich hier routinierte Musiker zusammengetan haben oder nicht.
Egal wie, Shallow Graves ist ein absolutes Brett, welches mit seinen
6 Songs und etwa 21 Minuten gut ins Ohr geht.
Ich würde hier 8,5 von 10 Punkten geben.

Malfested - Shallow Graves
We are leaving the German underground today and are going on a journey to Belgium.
There's a young band called Malfested here who released their latest work called Shallow Graves in November 2020.
Mike from Hardlife Promotion drew my attention to the band and so I thought, why not, Metal unites us, and so it came to what you have here now.
The band has actually only been around since 2020, and then to release such a debut, that deserves respect.
Musically you go in the direction of Death Metal, sometimes more old school, sometimes the more modern, melodic version, and that makes the whole thing very varied.
In one moment there are very beautiful melodies, in the next moment there is just shooting.
The vocals fluctuate between growls and screams, the instruments sound very good, and you can definitely see talent, unfortunately I couldn't find anything about the line-up, which is why I can't say whether experienced musicians have come together here or not.
Either way, Shallow Graves is an absolute board that comes with its
6 songs and about 21 minutes catches your ear.
I would give 8.5 out of 10 here.
